Get a laser. Never a color inkjet. This is not a discussion.
Color inkjets are a scam. Cartridges dry out, cost more than the printer, and the printer bricks itself. A monochrome Brother laser costs $150, works for a decade, and never phones home about toner.
The printer that ends printer discourse. Wireless, duplex, cheap toner, and is a monochrome option for everyday documents. If you print more than twice a year, this is the correct answer. Full stop.
The only color printer worth buying. Refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges — a bottle is $15 and prints ~7,500 pages. If you need occasional color, this ends the cartridge subscription forever.
